Cesar Chavez
What happened? When did it happen? Why did it happen? Who was involved? How does the event display racism? What is your opinion of the event/incident? Could it have been handled differently? What were the after affects of the event/incident?
Cesar Chavez, a legendary civil rights activist, promoted the idea of the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender equality movement, otherwise known as the LGBT-equality movement. More importantly, he supported gays and lesbian's problematic matters as the first major civil right leader. Chavez was one of the iconic leader who was essentially their spokesman on behalf of all lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender in the 1970s. Later on, he spoke out at the,"1987 March on Washington" walking the entire route that had been coordinated wishing that he would get the Government's approval. Nicole Murray Ramirez, former National Gay and Lesbian Task Force board member said, "He never forgot the support the UFW received from the gay community.” Furthermore, if Cesar Chavez did not handle the situation, then the outcome would take a turn of events; For instance, with no motivator the LGBT-movement would not go through. As time passed, Chavez died on April 23, 1993, but his legacy lives throughout Murray and the rest of the LGBT group. However, there were no after-effects of the incident as LGBT has not gotten any influential publicity.
In my opinion, I do not encourage the idea of Cesar Chavez supporting lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgenders marriages or affairs because I am a straight person. Secondly, I do not approve of the LGBT- equality movement, for I am Catholic-Christian. As written in the bible, "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination." (Leviticus 18:22) Meaning, the Bible condemns homosexuality as an immoral and detestable sin. The bible will only mention marriage with the opposing sex. Primarily, the purpose of marriage is to start a family; not to have such sexual reasons with the same sex. Lastly, why would you want to even have an incident with the same sex? It's just unnatural. In conclusion, my judgement of the suggestion of homosexuality or bisexuality would be to reject the movement.

P.S. I only did this character because Nick told me to (I didn't even know who this person was at first)
